Undergraduates
We welcome students from any department to apply, and we particularly encourage those from Materials Science and Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Civil Engineering, and Mining Engineering. Opportunities are available at all levels (Freshman to Senior), with positions open during any semester. UG students work collaboratively in various projects, participate in NASA internships/challenges. Funding opportunities are available through UROP, as well as internal and external fellowships, including NASA fellowships. Interested students should complete this this Google form and email Professor Suhas Eswrappa Prameela at suhas.prameela@utah.edu once they filled the application.

Graduate Students
M.S. and Ph.D. students from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. To be considered, email a CV and a brief statement of research interests to Professor Suhas Eswrappa Prameela at suhas.prameela@utah.edu, and note their interest via this form. M.S. students may receive funding through research grants or external fellowships such as NSTGRO, while Ph.D. students are fully supported by internal and external grants. Ph.D. applicants are especially encouraged to apply to the Materials Science & Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering Ph.D. programs and mention the name of Prof. Suhas Eswarappa Prameela in their SOP/application.

Postdoctoral Researchers
